Payments and refunds
This draft explains the intended payment boundary between the public ISMWE website and approved hosted providers. Final transaction rules must be confirmed before collection begins.

Hosted payment processing
The public ISMWE website does not collect or store full payment-card details. A participant who chooses a paid membership, event, course, or contribution will continue to an approved external provider, such as an ISMWE-specific Zeffy form, where the provider handles the transaction under its own terms and security controls.
Price and confirmation
The live hosted form must show the approved amount, currency, purpose, any applicable tax treatment, required or optional provider contribution, and relevant terms before payment. The payer should retain the provider confirmation. A draft plan, archived webpage, social post, or verbal estimate does not override the live confirmed offer.
Optional provider contributions
Some fundraising platforms may invite an optional contribution to support the provider’s service. The hosted form should explain whether it is optional and how to change it. Such an amount is separate from the ISMWE fee or contribution unless the live form expressly states otherwise.
Cancellations and refunds
ISMWE must approve a clear rule for each transaction type before launch. The rule should address participant cancellation, duplicate or erroneous payments, event cancellation or rescheduling, non-attendance, digital access already supplied, processing timing, and any legal rights that cannot be excluded.
Until those rules are approved and displayed, this website makes no promise that a payment is refundable or non-refundable.
Event or course changes
If ISMWE materially changes or cancels a paid programme, it should communicate promptly through the registration contact details and apply the approved remedy consistently. Where an external provider or educator owns the offer, that provider’s terms may govern and must be identified before enrolment.
Supporter contributions and receipts
ISMWE’s incorporation as a not-for-profit corporation does not by itself make it a registered charity or qualified donee. A payment should not be represented as tax-deductible, and no official donation receipt should be promised, unless the live form and ISMWE’s verified legal status support that statement.
A provider transaction receipt is evidence of payment; it is not necessarily an official charitable donation receipt.
Payment questions
Use the contact page and choose the relevant membership, webinar, or learning topic. Do not send a complete card number, bank credentials, government identifier, or other sensitive financial information. Include only the provider reference and the minimum details needed to locate the transaction.
