ISMWE welcomes medical writers, editors, researchers, clinicians, students, educators, regulatory and medical-affairs professionals, and other life-science colleagues who support the society’s purpose and agree to its approved membership and conduct requirements.
One legal membership class: ISMWE’s filed articles establish one class of members. Every admitted member is entitled to notice of, attendance at, and one vote at meetings of members. Any future pricing or participation categories must be implemented consistently with those corporate documents and approved terms.

Who can become a member?
ISMWE is intended for professionals and learners involved in medical, scientific, and healthcare communication, subject to the final approved eligibility and conduct requirements.
What does membership cost and how long does it last?
The approved price, currency, term, and renewal method will be shown on the ISMWE membership page and the corresponding Zeffy form before enrolment opens. No amount is being published until those details are formally confirmed.
Are webinars included?
Only webinars explicitly marked ‘Included with active membership’ carry no separate event fee. Every event page will state its access terms before registration.
Can a non-member attend a webinar?
Where ISMWE opens an event to non-members, its event page and Zeffy registration form will show the applicable public access terms.
Does membership include every course?
No. Course access is administered separately through the learning provider unless a particular membership offer explicitly states otherwise.
Is membership a professional credential?
No. Membership is not a professional licence, academic degree, accredited certification, employment guarantee, or guarantee of publication or regulatory acceptance.
What is the cancellation or refund policy?
The approved cancellation and refund rules will be shown before payment and linked from the Zeffy transaction journey. The current website policy page remains a draft until organizational review is complete.
